Lakeshore Badgers Varsity

Our mission is to foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship while providing student-athletes with the opportunity to grow both on and off the ice. We compete with pride, practice with purpose, and represent our schools and communities with integrity.

Through the combined support of our schools, families, and local communities, the Badgers continue to build a competitive and inclusive program where players develop their skills, create lasting friendships, and embrace the values of hard work and dedication.

When

The MHSAA season generally runs from Halloween through Mid-March. There are optional off season conditioning workouts with this program as well.

For the 2025/2026 School year, practice begins on October 27, 2025. The first game will be on November 8, 2025 and the MHSAA Playoffs start on February 16, 2026.

Where

Our on and off ice practices and our home games are hosted at the West Shore Community Ice Arena. We will play schools anywhere in Michigan, which results in periodic travel throughout the state.

Practices

For the 2025/2026 school year, we have the following practice schedule.

Mondays - Off-ice from 6:30-7:30, On Ice 8:00-9:20.

Tuesdays (10/28/25-1/13/26) - Off-ice from 5:30-6:30, On Ice 7:00-8:00.

Wednesdays - Off-ice from 6:30-7:30, On Ice 8:00-9:20.

Thursdays - On Ice 5:00-6:00, Team Dinner and Game Film 6:15-7:45.

Games

The MHSAA allows a maximum of 27 regular season games, including showcases/tournaments. Additionally, not more than 3 games are allowed in a given Monday-Sunday period. We have not scheduled any games for Sunday in the 2025/2026 season.

Jerseys

Jerseys will be provided to the students at no cost.

Extra Costs

The program fees have been set to be all inclusive. Significant effort to build corporate partnerships are ongoing to maximize the program offerings at a fixed cost to families.

2025-2026

The Lakeshore Badgers are excited for the 2025-2026 season and look forward to continuing from last year's success!

The cost for this season will be $1,400 per player with payment plan or pay in full options available. If choosing the payment plan, the payments are scheduled for September 10th, October 10th, November 10th and December 10th with $280 due at registration. Player fees must be paid in full no later than December 10, 2025.

This is the all-inclusive cost for the season. There will be no additional fees required.
